I took this shot of the Windy City, standing at the Adler Planetarium, looking back North West towards the downtown area.
Chicago, on Lake Michigan in Illinois, is among the largest cities in the U.S. Famed for its bold architecture, it has a skyline bristling with skyscrapers such as the iconic John Hancock Center, sleek, 1,451-ft. Willis Tower and neo-Gothic Tribune Tower. The city is also renowned for its museums, including the Art Institute and its expansive collections, including noted Impressionist works.

Ricky L. Jones was born in Memphis, Tenn., but currently resides in southeastern Wisconsin. He’s a Distance Learning Technician for Gateway Technical College and says he’s “basically a computer tech that helps students with their computers and software.”
In his spare time, Ricky explores his all-time favorite hobby — bird and nature photography.
